The Greek Erasmus team of the project Food for Thought returned home from Turkey on 14 March 2022. The Greek students and their parents would like to thank our Turkish friends at Selma Yigitalp Anadolu Lisesi for their warm hospitality and the great moments they offered us. Yeliz Gökçe had organized an excellent program that included creative activities at school and interesting excursions to Izmir, Urla, Ephesus, and Şirince. We would also like to thank the principal and all colleagues from Selma Yigitalp Anadolu Lisesi.

The Erasmus team of the 2nd High School of Kalamata visited Porto together with teams from Poland and Turkey from 8 το 14 May 2022. The visit was part of the Erasmus+ program Food for Thought and the Greek team included the teachers Nikos Lagios (coordinator of the program) and Eleni Stravakou (member of the pedagogical team of the project), as well as the students of the 3rd grade Alesia Zela, George Lagios, Valesia Marouli, Vasiliki Papamichail and one 2nd grade student, Antonia Stavropoulou. The host school, Agrupamento de Escolas de Rio Tinto No3, led by teachers Odete Silva and Carla Vieira, had prepared a very interesting program of activities that included teamwork workshops on site and visits to the wider area. Participants visited the Cindor Silver and Goldsmith Workshop, the Gondomar Jewelry Museum, the Vianense Chocolate Factory, the Palácio da Bolsa, the Lello Bookstore, the Clérigos Tower, the City Hall and the J Nature Shelter. The teams left Portugal with wonderful experiences, renewing their appointment for Kalamata in November.

It was a busy week for the partners of the Erasmus project Food for Thought. The Greek Mobility took place in Kalamata, Greece from 28/11 to 2/12/2022 and focused on the topics of biodiversity and sustainability. The participants joined activities at school and visited several places of interest - the village of Alagonia at Mount Taygetus, the Fifa permaculture farm, the archaeological site and museum of Ancient Olympia and the Marinis Art Farm.
